How to make an interesting t-shirt from simple?

 Very simple :


First cut a semicircular strip (can be straight)


then arrange it along the edges...


On the inside endler machine...



... and on the outside a flat stitch.

Finished tape


Connect the pins with the shirt in 4 places


sew with a machine with some decorative stitch...


and here it is! Done! So simple and effective!
